About Haus Tirol Kaprun

You can spend your spare time, relax and recharge in a family-friendly guesthouse overlooking the glacier, right in the heart of Kaprun. Well-known for its unique style and year-round sports activities, Kaprun is the best choice for a destination when it comes to alpine resorts.

Situated in the heart of the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 786 meters, the village of Kaprun is laying between the lovely Salzburgerland and Hohe Tauern National Park, Europe’s second largest natural reserve. This is where Austria’s highest mountain, the majestic Grossglockner, stands at 3798 meters.

Thanks to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier (3203 m), the wide glacial slopes, magnificent alpine views and a great variety of winter sports are already available in the autumn. This is the only glacial skiing area in the land of Salzburg and guarantees snow from the autumn until the begging of the summer.
